Few Happy MomentsCouple of things have made me very happy over last couple of weeks. I have written about them in the order of the magnitude of happiness I have got from them.
- My daughter giving me a birthday card. What's so great about this... Its not made by archies or any greeting card company. It was made by my daughter with some assistance from her teachers. It had happy birthday scribbled all over the place and didn't have any emotional shit written by some one else on it. My wife asked me what gift I wanted for my birthday, I said if you can beat this card then I will have a gift.(I know you guys with out kids are thinking, what a waste of opportunity...)
- Muslims (oops sorry... terrorists.. I would love if Microsoft word had a bug in its dictionary and brought “person following Islam” as the meaning for terrorist) getting their ass kicked by Israel. I saw photograph of a father carrying his daughter (may be around my daughters age) who had lost an arm. I don't know if that guy was Jew or a Palestinian but I felt very bad. I told my wife this is why war is not a solution and India should have a proper plan before teaching Pakistan a lesson. Imagine if we had to deal with such a thing? When you start thinking deeply about it, for all the barbaric shit these fuckers (I mean Muslims/mughals by the way) have done, they have to pay. Some innocents do pay a price, like people who died in mumbai or people who died on 9/11. One of my very good friends had a thought for the day on her gtalk message couple of days ago. It said “I would like to have a child who would ask what was war”. I had 2 answers for her to give to her child
- don't worry kid, just watch news
- Before there were people who followed (wrongly lets say) a religion called ISLAM. (As long as Muslims exist, first answer holds good)
